A Fresh Start
Website Migration and Rebuild: A New Chapter
I’ve recently made the decision to change both my website hosting and domain provider.
The primary reason for this move was cost-effectiveness—my previous service no longer justified its price, especially given the limitations it imposed. By migrating to a new provider, I now have access to a platform that better suits my current needs and offers significantly more flexibility.
However, one of the challenges was that my original website was built using a proprietary site builder, which did not support full-site migration. As a result, I wasn’t able to transfer my content directly and had to rebuild everything from the ground up.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been learning WordPress and using it to reconstruct the website. While the design may still be a work in progress compared to the previous version, WordPress gives me far greater creative and technical control—something I’ve wanted for a long time.
The migration and redesign process has been time-consuming, as I’m still learning the platform. Nonetheless, this new version represents a solid foundation, and I plan to continue improving and expanding the site in the coming months.
Several key upgrades are already in place. The blog section is being completely overhauled and now includes a comment feature—a long-requested addition. The site also features a dark color scheme for a more comfortable reading experience, another customization that was previously unavailable to me.
If you happen to notice any errors or inconsistencies, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I appreciate your understanding during this transition, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
If you’ve visited the site before and noticed significant changes—this is the reason why. And I’m pleased to share that this post marks the beginning of the new version of the blog.
